A blessing to serve…
Literature Evangelist Tasmanian Conference.
What a blessing it has been to work for our Saviour this last week. How wonderful it was to be led by Him.
A Chinese girl opened the door. I introduced myself and she invited me in. After showing our health books she said, “I don’t have any heath problems.” I reached into my bag and pulled out the book, Today Tomorrow You.
As I showed her the picture of the second coming of Jesus she was very moved. I told her that the greatest event that is soon to take place in this world is the coming of Jesus. She was open and listened. I then offered her the book, Steps to Christ and she accepted it.
I have prayed that as she reads that book, she will come to know who Jesus is and what He has done for her and her family and that they will accept Jesus in their lives.
It was also a blessing visiting with Jim. Jim had warned me, “If you are going to sell me something, it’s best that you don’t start.”
I had previously met Jim on another occasion and I was praying that God would open his heart. Jim then asked, “What church do you go to?” I answered, “I’m a Seventh Day Adventist.” A good discussion developed and I had the opportunity to offer him a Steps to Christ.
Flicking through the book Jim noticed the verse, John 3:16 Accepting the book he said, “This is everything!”
I look back over the week and what a blessing it was to pray with people, to place our message books in their homes, to have them buy our wonderful books, Foods and their Healing Power. And to even have one of my contacts come to church!
Thank you Lord for the joy you give when we reach out to others.
